At Automotive Passion, we have engineered dry carbon fibre bumper trim replacements with integrated canards specifically for the Audi RS3 8Y Gen 2 8.5. Component has been constructed as 1 single piece for added strength and rigidity. Canard trims are a direct replacement for the factory front inserts, all original mounting points and clip locations re-used.

During the design phase, we optimized airflow management to efficiently direct high-velocity air passing over the canards and beneath the front of the car. This was achieved through our in-house aerodynamic simulation software, which enables dynamic wind speed testing across CAD models and engineering drawings—ensuring improved stability and front-end grip resulting in less understeer when pushed to the limit.

All parts are manufactured from high-quality pre-preg dry carbon fibre, finished in Glasurit clear coat with full UV protection in Gloss Twill Carbon to match your build’s theme.

Install:

Front Canard Trims are a direct replacement part, for the factory side trims. Fitment is plug and play, once the OEM Factory front trims have been removed from the bumper, the new piece will slot into position using the same mounting point locations within the bumper. 3M acrylic tape alongside a small screw point are recommended on the back side of the canards that run up the bumper to ensure there is no movement on the paintwork at high speeds.

Note: Bumper needs to be removed to remove and fit the new inserts.
